Do photographs tell the truth? Or do they lie?
I think they can tell the truth and lie at the same time. It really depends on who is looking at the picture. Some things can deceive the eye and make the photo only appear to be a lie when its not. Some ways it can purposefully be a lie and people think its the truth. No one can truly tell what the photo means, but the photographer.
