1) What do you know now that you did not on February 1st?
I know now that photography is a lot harder than I imagined, and that I should not take it for granted. In the past semester I have learned things about the camera I never would have thought about. The fact that a single camera can do so many things, and with proper timing can make a beautiful image is truly amazing. I have learned things like SLR, Exposure, Leading lines, Rule of thirds, and many other fantastic things.
2) Which project is your best work? Why?
I think that my best work was in my flower project. I personally LOVE flowers, not taking care of them, but looking at them. When I learned that we had the project I got started right away, taking pictures left and right. I felt I had a lot of good photos in the flower project, and I will probably continue to do more with it.
3) What types of photography and processes were your favorite? Why?
I really liked the Macro, because it really made the viewer look at the photos and guess. I liked how interesting they turned out and I know that I will continue to take photos with Macro.
4) What did you learn about yourself?
I learned (especially during the self portraits) that it is really hard to put words into an image. Not literally, but it is hard not to make a cliche photo for the word "Love".
5) What were your challenges this semester?
Finishing projects on time for sure. I think if I did more during the duration of the semester, I would have been able to get more done.
